Music theory, guitar, and you

The guitar is taught through information transmission much more often than through guided process.

Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that our guitar is a musical instrument, and is designed to speak the language shared by all musicians.

The thing about music theory is that it isn’t hard, it’s just takes focus to understand and effort to incorporate.

When guitarists feel like it all just doesn’t make sense, or that new information seems to be harder to incorporate onto the instrument that is the moment they are coming to grips with the gap between playing the guitar, and becoming a musician.
